During our 3-day desert quad biking tour, you will experience the diverse features of the Moroccan landscape, including its small dunes, rocky regs, isolated plateaus, and much more. We suggest a suitable itinerary for this, traversing hammadas, sand rivers, discovering the nomads’ simple lifestyle, and experiencing the exhilaration of sand dunes.

Itinerary:

Day 01: Merzouga Desert – Erg Znigi – Wild Desert Camp

After a shower and breakfast in your Merzouga hotel, our guide will provide all safety information about riding and controlling the quad biking in sand dunes before embarking on our three-day Desert Quad Bike Adventure to explore the remote and beautiful landscapes of the great south with the assistance of an experienced and professional local quad biking team.

The journey will begin with a drive over the modest sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, one of North Africa’s highest sand dunes, followed by a drive over one of the legendary Paris-Dakar Rallye trails. Along the way, we’ll stop at the prehistoric site of Taouz etched stone.

Then we’ll drive through breathtaking scenery of desert mountains and sand dunes till we reach Jdaid village, where we’ll stop for lunch. From there, we’ll drive along the Jdaid River, stopping to admire the sunset above the spectacular orange Ouzina sand dunes, where we’ll spend the night in either a desert wild camp or a small lodging in the middle of nowhere. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the Wild Desert, a less trafficked desert.

Day 02: Ramlia dunes – Mharch Oasis – Erg Ouzina sand dunes

After breakfast, we headed in the direction of Ramliya dunes and the Mharch Valley. by traveling the Dakar rally roads far into the desert, conversing with nomads over tea.

Following lunch, the trail drives us across a dry river and through several fesh-fesh areas before leading us to Ouzina. Then take joy in watching stunning sunsets from a distance. while moving through the limitless space. A journey similar to the ones we see on TV!

Day 03: Erg Ouzina sand dunes – Hamada Kem Kem – Back to Merzouga desert

We will visit sand dunes between the Hamada Kem Kem and Tazoulte Mountains on our 3 days desert quad bike tour. Then, to discover more about the majestic and inaccessible Mountains to the south, we’ll try driving along the Ouzina Sand Dunes and Ziz River.

Afterwards, we’ll get to Taous and the Khamlia village, where we will have Berber pizza for lunch. Then, before we start driving in Merzouga’s highest sand dunes, we’ll stop at a small oasis and climb one of the highest sand dunes for the sunset, with spectacular views afforded by waves and waves of sand dunes that reach up to 150m. Overnight in a hotel in Merzouga Village.

Each person is at their own level of comfort, and no one is ever asked to do more than they are comfortable with. Remember, we’re all about having fun while staying safe! What To Bring

Travel Insurance:

At the risk of sounding like your parents, buy travel insurance before you leave. It’s one of those items you don’t want to leave the house without. Depending on your travel style, we recommend either World Nomads or Safety Wing.

Before departing on a tour, the client should get personal insurance from a reliable insurer to cover personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation fees, luggage loss, and tour cancellation penalties.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

To reserve your desert 3-day Merzouga desert quad biking tour, we require a deposit via PayPal or bank transfer, with the remainder paid in cash upon your arrival. We are entirely flexible in arranging your customised trip based on your travel preferences and budget.

Cash or credit cards:

We accept cash in Euros (€), pounds (£), USD ($), or local Dirhams (MAD) for the 3-day Merzouga desert quad biking tour balance. We recommend paying cash upon arrival at our office. If you do not want to go with a lot of cash, we propose paying with credit or mastercard. However, there is a 6% fee.

Cancellation Policy

We can cancel your 3-day desert quad biking tour for free if you notify us two days before the tour begins. Simply notify us of your cancellation by email, and we will issue a full refund. Also, if you wish to postpone your trip to a later date.

What kind of vehicles are used?

Morocco Ultra Tours uses a comfortable automobile. As a result, for parties of less than six people, we use a Toyota Prado Land Cruiser. We used an 8-seater van and a 17-seater minibus for groups larger than 8 people.

How far is Merzouga from Fes

The distance between Marrakech and Merzouga is 460 kilometers.

Is there another option to go to the camp except Camels?

Yes, for travelers who choose not to ride camels, we employ a 4×4 vehicle to transport you to the camp at no additional cost. Optionally, ATV Quads / Buggy Dune can be rented for an additional fee. You only need to notify us at the time of booking.
