Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate

We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 08:00 and begin our trip from Marrakesh to Ouarzazate via the High Atlas mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka pass, where we’ll stop for photos and to take in the scenery. Visit the Telouet Kasbah and Ait Benhaddou’s ancient kasbah. We’ll continue to Ouarzazate and visit the Atlas Studio. Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Then we travel to Ouarzazate, passing through the unforgiving stone desert, to see the Kasbah of Taourirt and the famous film studios. After lunch, take a drive through the Dades Valley on the famed 1000 Kasbahs Road, passing via the intriguing hamlet of Skoura and on to Kelaat Magouna, known for its flowers. Enjoy supper and settle in for the night when you arrive to Boumalne Dades.

Day 2:Ouarzazate - Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Desert

We’ll travel from Ouarzazate to Merzouga the next day, then to Rose Valley and Dades Valley, but first we’ll stop at Ouarzazate’s Kasbah Taourirte. 

We’ll drive through various Berber towns before arriving at Todra Gorges, where we’ll have a walk to admire the gorge before continuing on to Merzouga Desert for the night.

Day 3:Merzouga Desert - Explore Sahara Desert

We’ll take a brief tour of the Erg-Chebbi sand dunes before heading to Khamlia village, a group of dark-skinned people who were once slaves in African countries but now dwell in the area and play Gnawa music. We’ll also pass by a miner’s village and meet nomadic Berber families who still live and travel in the desert. In the afternoon, we’ll travel to Merzouga town for a camel ride and a night in a desert tent.

Day 4: Ouarzazate - Ziz Valley - Fes

On the final day of our vacation, we’ll travel from Merzouga to Fes, which will be a long day. We’ll pull off to the side of the road to take in the views of the Ziz valley, Middle Atlas mountains, and cedar forest, as well as keep an eye out for monkeys.
