Itinerary for a 8-day tour from Casablanca

Day 1: Welcome to Morocco - Arrive in Casablanaca

At Casablanca airport, our driver will be waiting for you, holding a sign with your name on it. After that, get in your vehicle and drive to the hotel.

Day 2: See the Sights of Casablanca & Rabat

In the morning, it’s time to explore the wonders of Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city. Begin with a visit to Casablanca’s greatest mosque, Hassan II Mosque. On the waterfront sits a large mosque with amazing architecture. Proceed to your next destination, Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Here, the most important landmarks and monuments will be examined.

Visit the Bab Chellah, a Muslim necropolis built on top of a Roman necropolis, the Hassan Tower mosque, and Mohammed V’s Mausoleum. You may also visit the Oudaya Historic Center, a fortification along a river with views of the Atlantic Ocean and one of the royal palace’s major entrances. Lunch at a nearby eatery. Journey onwards to Fes. Overnight at the riad.

Day 3: Discover Fes, Morocco’s Oldest Imperial City

After breakfast, you will wander the lanes and alleyways of Fes, Morocco’s oldest city. View the magnificent mosaic tilework on the metal framework of the Royal Palace gate. Explore the Jewish quarter, which goes back to the 15th century and is the first Mellah to be established in Morocco.

Among other cultural and historical landmarks, we’ll visit the world’s oldest university, Al Qaraouine, the tanneries, and Moulay Idriss’ mausoleum. After lunch, you’ll visit a tile cooperative before taking in a stunning panoramic vista of Fes’ Medina. Spend the night at your riad in Fes.

Day 4: Travel Along the Stunning Atlas Mountain Range - Merzouga

Travel to Merzouga from Fes through Ifrane, Midelt, and the Ziz valley. Ifrane, sometimes known as Morocco’s Switzerland, is a lovely mountain town. Views of the Middle and High Atlas Mountains will be seen along the way. Stop in Azrou, a Berber village in the heart of the famed cedar forest. The Barbary apes will be visible here.

We’ll continue our journey to Alnif for lunch before departing for Merzouga’s beautiful sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Once we arrive, a competent camel driver will be waiting to take us on a camel ride across Erg-Magnificent Chebbi’s undulating sand dunes. You’ll take a break to relax, take in the scenery, and sandboard

Traveling to Midelt via the Atlas Mountains is a magnificent experience. Continue through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass and along the lovely Ziz River, with views of the High Atlas plateau, after lunch. The scenery begins to exhibit signs of desert as you approach Errachidia city. Later, go to Erfoud and Rissani via the magnificent Ziz Valley, stopping along the way for panoramic views. At the afternoon, we’ll arrive in Merzouga. Take a camel ride across the Merzouga dune to reach the camp for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Camel Trek at Erg Chebbi - Dades Valley

Enjoy one of the most stunning sunrises on the desert dunes in the morning. Following that is the camel journey back to Merzouga village. On your stroll over the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which alter with the light as the day progresses, you will be captivated.

Continue on to Morocco’s highest and narrowest gorges, the Rissani, Tinghir, and Todgha Gorges. After lunch in the valley, we’ll drive into the Dades Valley to see stunning sand castles and interesting rock formations known as “monkey toes.” The night will be spent in a beautiful guest house with supper and breakfast overlooking the Dades Valley.

Day 6: Travel the Road of the Thousand Kasbahs - Marrakech

Travel through the Dades Valley on your way to Ouarzazate and ultimately Marrakech. The drive through Dades Valley is known as the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,” and it offers some of the greatest photo opportunities of your trip. Stop in Kalaat M’Gouna, the heart of Rose Valley, to visit the rose cooperative and buy rosewater, which will make your linen smell amazing. Continue to Marrakech through the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.

Continue into the High Atlas Mountains, passing across the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m). You will have the opportunity to learn about the unique Moroccan way of producing Argan oil by Berber women in their cooperative. Proceed to your hotel in Marrakech for the night.

Day 7: Explore Marrakech - Glance at Marrakech, Morocco's Red City.

You can start touring Marrakech after breakfast at the riad. This cultural hotspot is one of the world’s most beautiful cities, with much to see and do. The Koutoubia Tower, the exquisite Saadian tombs, Majorelle Gardens, and the stunning Bahia Palace are among the historical and cultural treasures.

You’ll walk around the tempting souks after lunch at a restaurant near the square, looking at the great choice of handicrafts and other things for sale. You will have some free time in the afternoon to explore the other wonderful areas of the city on your own.

Day 8: Bid Goodbye to Morocco

Depending on your departure location and time, you will be transferred to Casablanca city or Casablanca Airport. Farewell, Morocco!

Cancellation Policy

We can cancel your 8-day tour for free if you notify us one week before the tour begins. Simply notify us of your cancellation by email, and we will issue a full refund. Also, if you wish to postpone your trip to a later date.

FAQ of the 8 days tour from Casablanca

Morocco Ultra Tours uses a comfortable automobile. As a result, for parties of less than six people, we use a Toyota Prado Land Cruiser. We used an 8-seater van and a 17-seater minibus for groups larger than 8 people.

Yes, for travelers who choose not to ride camels, we employ a 4×4 vehicle to transport you to the camp at no additional cost. Optionally, ATV Quads / Buggy Dune can be rented for an additional fee. You only need to notify us at the time of booking.
