Agadir lacks traditional Moroccan features such as a picturesque medina with souks and classic architecture due to a 1960s earthquake that devastated the city’s historic attributes. Climb the Kasbah Oufella in Agadir

The Kasbah Oufella in Agadir provides some of the city’s greatest panoramic vistas. Many people are unaware that Agadir is a new city, as the old city was virtually devastated in the 1960 Agadir earthquake. The epicenter was in the city’s centre, and the depth was fairly shallow, despite being a mild earthquake (5.8 on the Richter scale). The earthquake devastated the city, flattening most structures over one storey and killing or wounding more than two-thirds of the population.

We visited Morocco in February and went on a 5-day private tour with Morocco Ultra Tours from Marrakech to Fes. Our driver/tour guide was Youssef. We had a great time with him and on the trip. The trip was both exhilarating and enlightening for them. Youssef patiently answered all of our inquiries and escorted us to some fantastic places for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. Amazing trip with Morocco Ultra Tours

We had a fantastic four days traveling from Marrakech to Merzouga via the Erg Chebbi sand dunes.This was the highlight of our two-week stay in Morocco. We couldn't stop talking about it with our relatives and friends since it had such an impact on us. Even in the Sahara, where we had strong WiFi at the camp, the accommodations are of exceptional quality. Without a hitch, everything went off without a hitch. Everything was fantastic, and we would definitely recommend the Morocco Ultra Tours staff.
