Itinerary for a 5-day private tour from Casablanca

Day 1: Casablanaca - Rabat - Fes

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast and take you to Hassan 2 Mosque, one of the world’s largest mosques, where you will have free time to admire the Islamic architecture within. Following that visit, we will travel by highway to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, where we will stop for lunch before touring the city’s most beautiful landmarks, including the Oudaya Kasbah, Hassan Tower, and Mohamed 5th Mausoleum. We shall depart for Fes and drop you off at your hotel or riad.

Day 2: Explore old Medina of Fes - Fes

The cultural and spiritual landmarks are included in today’s tour. The tour begins with a visit to the Royal Palace. We select a vantage point from which to view the wall that encircles the historic medina. Then you’ll need some walking expertise to appreciate the city’s historical splendor. Our major purpose is to desecrate spiritual buildings like mosques and other sacred structures in order to find the tanners, the boiling point. The excursion does not include a meal. After the tour to the craftsmen’s, it’s back to the hotel.

Day 3: Fes - Ziz valley - Merzouga desert Camp

Breakfast sets the tone for the rest of the day. Driving through Ifran is the first step on the way to Merzouga. It is regarded as Morocco’s cleanest city. Whether or whether you stop to see the monkeys is entirely up to you. We also make a visit to the city of Ifrane. Merzouga is the final destination after passing via Midelt, Ziz Valley, and Erfoud. Later, camels will be waiting to take us on a tour of the sand dunes.

Day 4: Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley - Ouarzazate

After breakfast, the camel rider returns to Merzouga. The next step is to travel directly to the gorges, passing through Tafilalt on the way, where you may shop for traditional carpets and other items of interest. The Valley of the Roses is the next stop following the Skoura oasis. We get in Ouarzazate late at night and spend the night at a hotel.

Day 5: Ouarzazat - 1000 Kasbahs Road - Marrakech

First and foremost, check into your accommodation and have breakfast. The route covers Ouarzazate, as well as the castles of Taourirt and At Ben Haddou. Any further ideas or suggestions for must-see destinations would be much appreciated. Marrakech’s efforts are focused on gaining access to the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass. We arrive in the evening in the red city of Marrakech and check into a hotel. Your desert adventures in Morocco have come to an end.

Quad biking or Marrakech day trips can be included as an extra.
Instead of riding a camel, you can drive to the desert camp.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
You can simply ask your driver if you wish to miss some of the attractions and spend more time elsewhere.

To reserve your desert 5 day tour, we require a deposit via PayPal or bank transfer, with the remainder paid in cash upon your arrival. We are entirely flexible in arranging your customised trip based on your travel preferences and budget.

We accept cash in Euros(€), Pounds(£), USD($), or local Dirhams(MAD) for the 5-day desert trip balance. We recommend paying cash to your guide on the first day of the tour. If you do not want to go with a lot of cash, we propose paying with credit or mastercard, however there is a 6% fee.

Cancellation Policy

We can cancel your 5-day tour for free if you notify us one week before the tour begins. Simply notify us of your cancellation by email, and we will issue a full refund. Also, if you wish to postpone your trip to a later date.

What kind of vehicles are used?

Morocco Ultra Tours uses a comfortable automobile. As a result, for parties of less than six people, we use a Toyota Prado Land Cruiser. We used an 8-seater van and a 17-seater minibus for groups larger than 8 people.

The distance between Marrakech and Merzouga is 460 kilometers.

Is there another option to go to the camp except Camels?

Yes, for travelers who choose not to ride camels, we employ a 4×4 vehicle to transport you to the camp at no additional cost. Optionally, ATV Quads / Buggy Dune can be rented for an additional fee. You only need to notify us at the time of booking.

ATV/Quad Sand Dune Adventure in Merzouga

A thrilling ATV/Quad excursion allows you to explore the dunes’ distinctive grandeur. Zoom over Merzouga’s desert, feeling the Erg Chebbi dunes quake beneath your feet. As you descend into valleys and scale hills, you’ll see a combination of brilliant orange and utterly silent surroundings. Rissani’s market village is entered through an attractive gate. Spend some time viewing the famed donkey “parking lot” and roaming about the town’s popular market, which is known for its livestock auction. Maison Tuareg is a traditional arts and crafts business selling carpets, jewelry, leather goods, and other items.

Explore Ziz Valley & Atlas Mountains

The Ziz River leaves its rocky valleys behind at Errachidia and continues south along the Ziz Valley for another 100 kilometers (62 miles) to the Moroccan pre-Saharan region (hammada). Along the route, the river nourishes a series of oases, providing life to what would otherwise be dust and stone.
