Morocco is a crossroads of Amazigh (Berber), Arab, Andalusian, African and European cultures, and you feel it everywhere: in the architecture of the medinas, the music, the crafts and the food. A cultural tour of Morocco takes you to the heart of this rich heritage.
Our cultural tours visit the four imperial cities, Marrakech, Fes, Meknes and Rabat, the blue city of Chefchaouen, the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the kasbahs of the south. Expert local guides tell the stories behind each monument, and we take you into workshops, homes and markets to meet the people who keep these traditions alive.
Every itinerary is private or in a small group, so you can take your time in the places that move you most.

Cultural tours can be enjoyed all year. Spring and autumn are the most comfortable for long walks in the medinas. In summer, we start early and plan indoor visits in the afternoon. In winter, cities are sunny and quiet, ideal for museums and riads. During Ramadan, the evenings are lively after sunset.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Which are the imperial cities of Morocco?
The four imperial cities are Marrakech, Fes, Meknes and Rabat. Each was the capital of Morocco at some point in its history.
How many days do I need for a cultural tour of Morocco?
One week is enough for the imperial cities. With 10 to 14 days you can add Chefchaouen, Volubilis, the Sahara and the kasbahs of the south.
Do I need a guide in the medina of Fes?
We strongly recommend it. The medina of Fes is a maze of thousands of streets, and a guide shows you the hidden places and the artisans at work.
Can non-Muslims visit mosques in Morocco?
Most mosques are closed to non-Muslims. The Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca offers guided visits, and many madrasas and monuments are open to all.
Is a cultural tour suitable for families?
Yes. We add hands-on activities like cooking classes, pottery and short walks to keep children interested.
