Morocco is one of the best family destinations close to Europe. Children are welcomed everywhere with smiles and patience, the culture is fascinating at every age, and the landscapes change every day: red cities, snowy mountains, green palm groves and the golden dunes of the Sahara.

Our family tours in Morocco are private and built around your children. We plan shorter driving days with regular stops, choose family-friendly riads and desert camps, and mix activities with time to rest by the pool. Whether you travel with toddlers, teenagers or three generations together, we adapt every detail.

From a camel ride at sunset in Merzouga to a cooking class in Marrakech, these are the moments your family will talk about for years.

Best Time to Go

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the best seasons for families, with warm days and comfortable nights. During the summer holidays, we keep the mornings for activities, the afternoons for the pool, and add the coast or the mountains where it is cooler. Winter is sunny but cold at night in the desert, so pack warm layers.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Morocco safe for a family holiday?

Yes. Morocco is a welcoming and family-friendly country. With a private driver and a local team, families travel safely and comfortably, and children are made to feel special everywhere.

What is the best age to visit Morocco with kids?

Every age works. Children from about 5 years old enjoy the camel rides, the desert and the activities the most. With babies and toddlers, we choose shorter routes and comfortable riads.

Can children sleep in the desert camp?

Yes. Desert camps welcome families, with family tents and extra beds. If a camel ride is too long for small children, we can reach the camp by 4×4.

Is the drive to the Sahara too long for children?

The drive from Marrakech to Merzouga is long, so we split it over two days with fun stops at kasbahs, gorges and viewpoints, and never drive more than a few hours without a break.

Do you provide child seats?

Child seats can be arranged on request. Tell us the age and weight of your children when you book.

Can grandparents join the trip?

Of course. Multi-generation trips are among our favourites. We adapt walks, rooms and the pace so everyone enjoys the trip.

How much does a family tour in Morocco cost?

The price depends on the number of days, the season, the size of your family and the accommodation. Send us your dates and we will reply with a free, detailed quote.
